Brief Description

Albania guarantees 35 specialized services for victims of gender-based violence (GBV), including shelters, counseling, and treatment for sexual violence cases. These services include two national state shelters, eight public and non-public long-term shelters, and sixteen emergency residential centers offering 24-72 hour services. Additionally, there are three centers specifically for sexual violence treatment, such as the LILIUM Center in Tirana and integrated "One Stop Centers" in Fier and Shkodër.
